Terms of use
These terms apply to the Tonalia app for iPhone and to tonalia.net, both run by Hubertus Putu Widya Primanta Nugraha. By using either you agree to them. The app is also licensed to you underApple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which these terms add to and do not replace.
Accounts
You need an account to use the app. Keep your sign in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. You can delete it at any time from Profile in the app, or by writing to [email protected].
Free and paid
Section 1 of the curriculum is free, with no time limit. Sections 2 to 6 and the Explore lenses beyond section 1 require a subscription or a lifetime purchase, bought through the App Store.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, and again at each renewal.
- The annual plan may include a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown when you started it.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
What you may not do
- Copy, resell or redistribute the app, its lessons, its audio or this website's content.
- Reverse engineer the app, or try to get around the subscription.
- Use the waitlist or any part of the service to send spam or to harm others.
Content and credits
Tonalia's lessons, words, illustrations and software are ours. The piano is Salamander Grand Piano by Alexander Holm, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence. Typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License.
No warranty
Tonalia is a learning tool and is provided as it is. We work hard to make every answer right, and every exercise is checked by recomputing it, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
